Since you can't delete hands from the Hand2Note database, the only way to get rid of duplicates is to create a new database and import hands again. But if you have hands from different Heroes playing on the same tables at the same time, they will appear as duplicates in H2N. In this case, you will have to remove them from the original mining that you're importing and that may prove tricky if you have a lot of unorganized files.
Duplicate detection there is in H2N, but in some rooms and in some cases hands will still duplicate in your database. For example due to different Hero IDs in the same hand, slightly different playtime due to different servers and local time settings, etc.
